Eva Zimmerman, retired NYC Guidance Counselor, worked with children of various ages and abilities. Some lived lives burdened with major challenges, others simply experienced the everyday frustrations, joys and pleasures of childhood. Herself an immigrant at a young age, she understands what it means for a child to feel like an outsider while trying to fit in and adapt to change. Through her poems she continues to communicate, support and inspire young children, while hoping they find delight and enjoyment in the tales she tells.
